The Clamp-Type Grounding Resistance Measuring Instrument represents a significant advancement over traditional grounding resistance measurement techniques. It is widely used for measuring grounding resistance in industries such as electric power, telecommunications, meteorology, oil fields, construction, and industrial electrical equipment.
When measuring a loop-type earthing system, the clamp-type grounding resistance meter does not require disconnection of the grounding down conductor or the use of auxiliary electrodes, making the testing process safe, fast, and easy to perform.
This instrument is capable of measuring grounding faults that cannot be detected using traditional methods. It is applicable in situations where conventional approaches are ineffective, as the clamp-type grounding resistance meter measures the combined value of the grounding body resistance and the grounding lead resistance.
In addition, the clamp-type grounding resistance meter can also measure the leakage current and neutral line current of the earthing system, providing comprehensive diagnostic capabilities.
