With the cool autumn breeze in September, Wuhan UHV organized a unique team building activity, targeting Xiangyang, which has a long history and profound cultural heritage. This trip not only allowed us to relax while busy with work, but also deepened the friendship among colleagues while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Xiangyang.
Day 1: Travel through ancient and modern times, savor Xiangyang
In the afternoon, our group arrived in Xiangyang and our first stop was Linhan Gate. This towering city gate has witnessed the thousand years of wind and rain changes in Xiangyang. Standing in front of the gate, it seems like you can travel back to ancient times and feel the weight and vicissitudes of history. Subsequently, walking to the Lady City, this ancient city wall related to the famous lady of the Three Kingdoms period, added a touch of heroic atmosphere. Here, we not only take photos as mementos, but also silently pay tribute to those historical figures who fought bravely to protect their homeland in our hearts.
In the evening, we arrived at Xiangyang North Street. This ancient street is filled with shops lining both sides, offering a wide variety of snacks and specialties. I tasted authentic Xiangyang cuisine here, such as Xiangyang beef noodles, Yicheng prawns, etc., which left a lasting impression. In a relaxed atmosphere, colleagues sit together, chatting about work and life, and the distance between each other quietly narrows.
After dinner, we went to Xijia Pool. This is a classical garden with a history of nearly 2000 years, surrounded by water on three sides and facing mountains on one side, with pleasant scenery. We strolled in the garden, admiring the intricately arranged pavilions and towers, as well as the crystal clear pool water, feeling the tranquility and harmony far away from the hustle and bustle. Here, we take photos and clock in, leaving behind many beautiful moments.
As night fell, we arrived in Tang City, China. This is a large-scale Tang Dynasty style film and television shooting base, built in imitation of the prosperous Tang Dynasty. The exquisite pavilions, magnificent city walls, magnificent palaces, and lively markets make us feel as if we have traveled back to the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Here, we watched wonderful performances and experienced the prosperity and liveliness of the Tang Dynasty. At night, Tang City is brightly lit, like a dream, and we stroll through it, enjoying this rare tranquility and beauty.
Day 2: Cultural Exploration, Natural Journey
The next morning, we headed to 603 Cultural and Creative Park. This is a place full of creativity and artistic atmosphere, gathering numerous artists and designers. We visited various creative studios and exhibition areas, and appreciated the works and creative products of artists. Here, we feel the charm of art and the power of innovation, which also inspires us to think more about work and life.
In the afternoon, we arrived at Gulong Middle School. This is the place where Zhuge Liang, a famous politician and military strategist during the Three Kingdoms period, devoted himself to hard work, hard study, and inspiring himself to succeed. Historical events such as "Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage" and "Longzhong Strategy" occurred here. We visited famous historical sites such as Wuhou Temple and Sangu Hall, and listened to stories and legends about the history of the Three Kingdoms. Here, we not only feel Zhuge Liang's wisdom and courage, but also gain a deeper understanding of that magnificent history.
As the sun sets, our two-day trip to Xiangyang is about to come to an end. On the way back, everyone shared their experiences and feelings of the past two days, with smiles of satisfaction and happiness on their faces. This team building activity not only allowed us to appreciate the natural scenery and historical culture of Xiangyang, but also enhanced the understanding and friendship among colleagues in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. I believe that in our future work, we will be more united and work together to contribute more to the development of the company.
